What size where the Holden 253 Stromberg 2 barrel carbies? Did they also come out with Rochesters?

To my knowledge, the WW Stromberg carbies on 253 Red V8s were the same size as those on 186S motors (same also as on 161S & 173S LC GTRs). The main changes were to jetting & linkages.

The other 2 types of 2-barrel carbies fitted to 253 V8s were the Email-Carter BBD optionally fitted to late HQ & HJ motors & the RG Rochester used on the 253 in Bedford trucks. I believe neither of these would offer any performance advantage.

That one on ebay looks a bit a dodgy. It is advertised as HT/G but has an HX/Z (ADR27A) main body.
