Yes, B06 option on HJ, this was available on HJ-HZ. Only available in M41 with L31 but could also be had in other drivelines. Also came with Premier front, doortrims and armrests. U17 dash, bucket seats and A/C were other options i've seen. I've had two, both HZ's. One white L32 M40 column auto with U17 dash, buckets and A/C. And the Overlander which was an Ultra Blue L31 M41, column auto with buckets and U17 dash. A friend had one new, it was Panama green L32 M20 with buckets. I've only ever seen one HJ before, in L31 M41. B06 was the only way to get L31 in a tonner. I've never knowingly seen a panel van B06 but I do know a guy that bought one new, I guess it is because they don't stand out like the tonners do.

UC's had more colours in the sports wheels, they got: black, dark grey, dark blue, dark green, tan, dark buckskin and dark carmine. Dark Carmine is red.
them overlander cab chassis must of been BO6 but came out with kingswood nose. and only came in 5.0L with T400.

I've known of 2 of the supposed 3 x original HZ cab-chassis Overlanders and I used to own one of them. Both of those were B06 with Premier nose. HJ and HX B06 were also Premier nose. It is possible there was a special order non-B06 HX cab chassis in L31 M41, but you couldn't order it as a normal vehicle and if it was ordered it would have had a HQ style nose not a HX one. Most of the original HX Overlanders i've seen have been Sandman utes or vans. I've seen a few built up using Overlander kits and some of these have had driveline swaps.

G'day All

Got a quick question for you.

What colour is the interior light surround on the hz range. Mine is silver on the ute. My wb ute is black. And a mates hq ss at work is white what would a Monaro or sandman be ????.
Also did all hz utes come with a keyless fuel cap????
Cheers

To my knowledge all HQ to HZ dome light surrounds were silver, the HQ SS one you have is most likely faded. WB are black. The exception is the Caprice which had the Commodore SL/E type.

All HQ to HZ had a plain non-locking fuel cap, the lockable type was available as a genuine accessory.

I remember back in the 70s their was a old dude with a HJ ute it had a oval side window in the B panel, about 7x4 inches.
It had the P van type rubber that held the window in.
I think he bought it new like that,as he was the wealthiest man in town.
Is that a big country ute ?

No, but the oval window was a common aftermarket item.

A "Big Country" utility was a package like a Deluxe, below is an excerpt from my book.

"The "Big Country" utility applied to the base Holden utility model. It featured: the 3300 6-cyl/3-speed all-synchro powertrain, power front disc brakes, side mouldings, bumper rub strips, lash-on tonneau cover, tinted laminated windscreen and many heavy duty items, including the "outback option package."

Big Country ute was essentially a "Deluxe" package aplied to a HJ Holden ute. You would have probably seen these as Kingswood Deluxe in HJ wagon and sedan, but it was pretty different in a ute. Special Vehicle package code was A8J for all 3 x packages (ie on WM80, WN35 and WN68). Deluxe ute got:

A02 Tinted Windscreen Glass (Laminated - shaded Upper).
C57 Ventilator - Forced Air.
L20 202 high comp engine
JL2 Front disc brakes
M01 Clutch heavy duty
UA1 Battery - 60AH (deep cycling) wet charge.
E93 Lash on Tonneau cover
VF8 Front bumper bar strip
B84 Exterior Ornamentation - body side mouldings (same as Kingswood)
F72 Gross load equipment (heavy duty springs, shocks etc includes tonner rear leaf springs)
K45 Heavy Duty air cleaner
T57 Front fender mud deflector (mud flaps)
D71 Rear fender mud deflector

No other options were available.

Feature changes (no option codes):
Engine splash pan
Rear shock absorber stone shield
Larger bumper rubber for front lower control arms

Much of this became/was the XW5 special vehicle package (Outback Pack). The windows were probably an aftermarket thing.

1930 is the Palais White exterior & 33C refers to the Sage Green interior.

I believe that ADR35 refers to a braking standard for commercial vehicles.

I'm not aware of any changes to the HZ ute for ADR35, but the One-Tonner gained a load-sensing proportioning valve at that time.
