Hey guys, forgive me if I'm posting this in the wrong section as I'm new to this forum.
I've just purchased a 93' VP commodore, and I'm in need of info on the Zadi security system lock. I wasn't given a Zadi key to turn the switch on or off and my remotes have been playing up. So was wondering how to go about replacing the Key (Located in the LHS door jamb)into a switch or bypassing it somehow, as I'm not really concerned about it. Either or I've taken the lock mechanism out (By drilling out the rivets etc and removing the housing) Now I'm just wondering what the four coloured wires are for. I'd like to replace this with a switch and just wanted to know what wires are what. Ones pink, pink and black, orange, and orange and black. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers

Contact your local Holden dealer with your vin number & proof of ownership & they may or should be able to supply the zadi key code. Depending on where you are in nz your local locksmith will know what the zadi key is & will have the cutting codes etc.
Do you still have the security card in the onwners handbook? From memory the pink/pink wires on the (bodyside) get bridged to over-ride the system

Just take it to an auto elec and he will be able to tell you what wires to bridge to permanently turn this system off. Mine played up and gave me the sh!ts. So I did the same thing. Just not sure how to do it now. Someone in here might/should know the answer too.
