by far the 2 most common items asked for in the wrecking yard for HQ - WB are Radiator support panels, particularly single headlight HQ, followed by Twin headlight HJ - HZ
and front DOORS. HQ - WB
there are not many good ones left |
Old holdens brought on the spot, quick decision, cash paid. |

good HQ radiator supports have been very hard to find for many years, i'm very surprised that no one has reproduced them?
good doors are hard to find, but still can be found if your willing to pay a bit for them, rust free radiator supports seem to be non exsistant for any money

HQ radiator supports , HJ radiator supports , HJ doors , HJ cowl panel , HQ scuff plates sedan & Monaro and HQ door hinges are all on the wish list. If all goes well we should start seeing some of these parts early next year .

Les, Would it be possible to do a version of the ute rear cabin panel without the ute specific window frame/sill part, so you don't have to unpick if for a tonner cabin?
You could even probably even sell both parts as separate rust repair parts.
P.S. I see many more tonners still running around in the outer east of Melbourne than utes these days so it should be a good seller.

Les, While I'm logged in +1 on the HQ single headlight radiator support.
When you do the radiator supports would you consider releases of the smaller welded on pressings?
P.S. I just bought one of the new HQ Cowls looks great out of the box, I like how you have fitted the studs for the windscreen trims, they are a little rough on the back where they were spot welded but it will clean up pretty easy and its much better than having to do them as rivets or trying to get the special welder to them on.
It's for a HZ tonner so I have a fair bit of work ahead to fit it. I will feel bad chopping the HQ dash attachment part out it looks fantastic. When I get to it I will send you some more feedback. I will buy another one later for my SS once the treasury has more funds.
