Hello guys. Is there a way to change my HZ stud patten to Ford. My reason is that I also own a Rambler Matador, which has a Ford patten. A set of wheels to suit it have come up for sale at a good price. The Matador has newish rubber on Dragways, tha Tonner's rubber is sad. I also have the Ramblers orig rims with New BFG's hence my query. Are there any Ford diffs that suit HZ width. Is it difficult to get HZ front rotors with a Ford patten? Is there a simpler way to go. Cheers and thanks, Mick. |

I think the guys used to use P76 rotors on HQ's to get a Ford pattern disc, just some sort of adapter required. HQ disc is 276mm diam, 25.4mm thick and 72mm back to hub face. P76 is the same except only 62mm back to hub face, so I can't remember how the adapter works, I think it is a 10mm spacer than goes either behind the bearing or at the nut end. CRS will know, I think their kit is DB001A.
As for the rear, get the axles and drums redrilled or just fit an XA-XC diff. |

I got new HQ rotors drilled for HK back in the day. Is it as simple as new rotors with the ford pattern?

You can do that but I think you have to get the hub machined too or a spacer built. A call to DBA or RDA would answer this. |
