Hi guys can anyone help getting a hold of ben so I can see if my hq coupe is on the monaro register if not so i can put it on there my number is 0418745153 any help would b much appreciated thanks

I brought the car in 98 with the id tags to come which never did all I hav is body number 22770s and chassis number bhq 22678s is there any way of getting sum form of record on it?? Any info will help and be much appreciated to restore back to factory all I no is it was luna mint green as the a pillars r painted with it still the rest is cyan blue and the trim im guessing was black as door trims look original for the era

Unfortunately I doubt any of that will help unless it was recorded in the past. The only chance of finding it are if you know the following:
Engine number
Engine size
Auto or manual
Factory air
Steer
LSD or not.
Paint and trim won't help.
I'll ask and see if it was recorded in the past. |

Ok I will do my best to find that out the car was a manual from standard it had aircon in it I took it off it has power steering from factory n I am working on tracing it back through transport for the engine number the one I have in it is out of a torana and stamped ht so I no its not the right one for it the guy I brought it of was sure it was a 71 hq gts monaro as he had the roadworthy from previous owner thats do u no if they were ever registered under the vin number or just chassis??

Back then just engine number in some cases, and later by chassis number. |

Ok thanks for all ur help. not sure where to go mite b flogging a dead horse without the plates. but will do my best to find out all I can on it. and thanks for giving info to ben for me by the sound of it he the only hope. I didnt realize how hard this was gona be.
