I think 900 is Post Office or PMG red.
18C is a 9/68 HK trim update for Belmont, using HB Torana type trim. Called Buckskin Beige. 18C replaces 18A Pampas Fawn in some applications.

thanks HK1837 for the info, someone had suggested to me that they thought it may be PMG red so I will run with it, do you know where I would find a picture of the 18C trim that would have been used back in the day? cheers and thanks for the help

The GM-H name for post office red is Mercury Red.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

Have a look in Norm Darwin's Torana Tough, pages 18-19 (see test in brackets below). SHows Buckskin Beige over in the far right lower corner. Not a very good picture though. The colour looks more like the Sadlon Morrokide picture shown over on page 18. Norm also shows Buckskin Beige on page 22 of Monaro Magic - The Platinum Edition but again the pictue isn't that great in teh colour reproduction. You might be better served looking at Leroy Jones's trim pictures at Oldholden.

(The HB trims that changed when (I think) the HB became a Holden thing rather than an assembled Vauxhall and thus trim became Aussie made and the same happened in HK - Dr Terry might elaborate more on this if you are lucky and he is interested!).
