Hi,
New to the forum and need some info on my WB Tonner LS2 project. Just purchased what I was told is a VE HSV R8 307kw engine and 6L80E trans. My concern is after checking the net 55 in the VIN tell me it is was a Calais. Do they all start as Calais and then get the HSV changes or have I got a ring in. The last 4 digits have been left off both numbers.
� Build � 05/07 VE HSV Clubsport R8
� VIN � 6G1EX55U88L94
� Engine No. � ZLF07008

a friend bought a 06 hsv gts manual it,s body number was based on a Calais, you should be able to check all this out through holden to see if it all matches.

Hi Pete,
I sent off to a few places and hadn't receive any replies so I tried the forum. About an hour ago HSV themselves got back to me and you are right it is genuine.
