Just curious on these id tag numbers on a hk monaro im working on.

Body tag hk337a-

Skinny tag 80337kh

Tags appear to have never been removed

Shouldnt the body id tag read hk80337 as well as the skinny tag

It is an Acacia Ridge HK Monaro, auto. That is how they look. My Acacia Ridge GTS327 reads HK837M on the body plate. GTS reads HK737M or HK737A. It most likely was a 186P powerglide, but it could also have been a 186S or a 307 powerglide. Being an auto rules out a 161.
