i just put a VX motor into a VT (including harness and VX ECU)..
done a few before (VX into VT) but used the VT harness and ECU previously.
now it starts everytime for a second then cuts out and wont run on..
any ideas?? |

You need to pair the BCM to the PCM, as it's the anit-theft that's cutting in and stopping it. Or the other option is to send the memcal off to have the VATS removed. |

thanks commodorenut, I borrowed my mates SNAPON Ethos, but I cannot seem to find anything to select ON/OFF to connect PCM to BCM. any ideas? |

also, I selected model as 2001 VX on the scanner, that's correct isn't it? |

That's correct adam what ever year it is, it will be in engine, special functions, the link pcm to bcm. I am not sure if the ethos has the function it might only be a code reader. I have a snap-on solus but don't use it on the holden as I have a tech 2. pete
