Just wondering what size rims and back space you lads are running.i don't want to roll guards nor tub nor shorten diff.i realise that makes choice limited but body is smick.it has king lows on front. It's a monaro not sedan.looking at convo pros.thanks heaps.

I'm sourcing 15x6 Pontiac Rally rims for my HK GTS, standard ride height. I'll run whatever V rated tyres I can find, probably 215/60/15.

I'm just using the 15x6 version of the HQ rally rim, primarily as I want V rated tyres as almost all 14" tyres are only H rated which is lower than the original fitment to a HK GTS327

I am thinking of getting new wire spoke wheels for my old 1985 Jaguar Daimler XJ12 series 3, but how do you keep them from rusting up.
I think they will look the best for this type of car and I don't like all the new types of modern day wheels at all, who wants wheels that look like hub caps and the first time you even touch a gutter they are rooted.

The guards have the inside lip removed and my diff is vr commodore
I couldn't go any wider in tyre size but the way it's set up now is perfect.

I'd say they must be 4" backspace if you needed to remove the guard lips.

We've spent many hours and 1000's of $ putting the guard lips back to standard, and I won't be lowering the cars at all. I measured the XW GT 9" I have and from flange to flange it is the same width as a HK banjo.

Cool, hopefully 4.5" backspace fit without scrubbing. I have to run proper 15" rims to clear the front brakes.
