If you mean the chassis number on the firewall, approx when the body was completed and where the body was made, plus where the vehicle was assembled in most cases. In some cases you'll pick the driveline from the body too. |

yep thats what I figured ,thanks Also I wonder how many hktg monaros were sold in nz?

If you want send me the number off the firewall of the HT and we'll see what we can find out. See if you can get a photo of the firewall too that shows the whole firewall and the tunnel underneath.
I've seen HT-HG Monaros that were obviously built for sale new over there (1970-71 examples with no ADR plate), and others that were either dealer wholesaled or went over as used cars. But as to number, who knows? I do remember seeing paperwork though of a chunk of I think HK GTS's built for sale new over there. |
