I have just flown to Melbourne and bought one and drove it back to the hunter valley

Apparently the roof lining , sun visor holders are unique to the sports as well

I have a copy of the flyer that HK1837 is speaking of as well

Apparently the was only 85 made, although we can't 100% confirm that

The guy who owned mine worked in the factory as they were going through and was telling him about it

Happy days

Get onto Ben at HHS, he may have more info.

I doubt the 85 number as there were 11 different trims available. Holden would not offer that many trims on a run that small. Maybe 85 on the first day of production.

Well, I checked my HQ 'Sportsman' & it is a Sydney car, with interior 88A. It has L32/M40 with a column shift & U21 instruments.

If these cars were made in (at least) Sydney & Melbourne & as Warren has said, have 11 different interior trims, then 85 would be too few a number for their total production.

Byron, I would love to see a brochure or anything else you have on them.

I guess it's not a Sandman or an SS, it's just Kingswood with trim options, so it's a bit like the HT White Hot or the HG Belmont 186L, in terms of 'desirability'.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

I have recorded 10 so far, with a sprinkling from all factories and all engine combinations available for a Kingswood bar 173 and range from 2/74 through 6/74
