Could you elaborate. The ute is no different to sedan, wagon or van.
There are 3 mounts, one each side of the engine & another at the rear of the gearbox. Do you need more info, like the exact position of bolts & washers etc. ?

Hello DR Terry, I am fitting a Rod Tech front end to my HR Ute and will be running a 383 SBC so I need to know the exact position that the mounts need to be welded onto the Front End, in the standard HR position Edited by user Tuesday, 3 March 2015 1:15:21 AM(UTC)

You need to get a stock front suspension x-member & measure the relative position of the original mounts to the 4 thru bolts to the chassis rail.

Before you buy the Rod-tech one look at the Southern Chassis Works unit. This is what i'm going top get for my HK, they have the jigs to weld the mounts in the original place and they can make them at standard ride height. |

Too many variables to simply nominate a position in mid air to position mounts for a Chev into a HR regardless of front end. You'll need to dummy up your motor, trans etc to get correct crankshaft angle for your particular application. Then have mounts welded in correctly. Or, call Rod & have him position prior to delivery. Edited by user Wednesday, 4 March 2015 8:21:16 AM(UTC)
