The parent book for the series was the HK Mechanical Shop manual, and the other series after that were handled with supplements.

The original set was:

1/ HK Series Shop Manual, Mechanical. Part number M35954
2/ HK Series Shop Manual, Body and Sheet metal, Part Number M36453
3/ HK Series Monaro and Brougham Supplement, Body and Mechanical Shop Manual, Part number M36572
4/ HT Series Shop Manual Supplement, Part Number M36667.
5/ HT + HG Series Shop Manual Supplement, Part Number M36667. (!)

I believe there is also a version of 1/ above with the supplements included, but I've never seen it.

Yes Geoff, that version with the supplements included is a later print, I believe done in the 90s.

You are correct about the same part number (M36667) being used for the 2 different HT (& HG) supplements. The only difference is a few extra pages added to the rear of the manual mainly dealing with the ADR Compliance plate. Otherwise the 2 are identical.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

Depending on how much you want to spend, this might be an option for item 3:

Be warned, they do go for crazy money.

Item 2 is a "nice to have", and not essential.

I have three of the 1990s green reprints with 1+2+3+5

I bought my first one back when they were new. Wrecked it, and the car I was working on. In the naughties I picked up a few on eBay just as they started to get hard to get.
