All, HK Holdens all use the same front suspension crossmember. The lightening holes in the outrigger are simply that. In 1969, the circular hole became a handy place to run the power steering hoses through on the GTS 327 model (if so equipped) as 307 cont

Thanks Shifty, sounds more than plausable. The solid i had has gone as i sold the car, pitty i cant get its date code :-{{ the solid i had was in a HT prem but no guarantee it was original in that car (auto 6 cyl). Hazard, can you grab the date code fro |

looked all over cant find a date all i found was a stamp (ht) on the lower control arms but has had a few coats of paint over the years may be buried under that

I have never taken note of when this change took place, but its not different between 6 & V8 engined cars. It probable changed somewhere in late HT or early HG.
I have seen many of the early ones (with the holes) cracked, so maybe Holden ju |
