i have a hq 308 that i am stripping down. It runs on dual fuel at the moment. the heads are r/s. I want to run it on straight gas, so i nead to get the heads done for it. problem is the heads are off a blue motor. should i get original heads, or should i do up the blue heads. thanks guys

if you plan on using straight gas, use either pre poloution heads or VN heads. yella terra once told me they dont make LPG blue heads because the casting are too thin.
either way you would need a new manifold.
if you go for VN heads i dont thi

thanks, do the vn v8 heads fit straight on, or do would i need to modify,

You will need to use a VN camshaft with VN heads as the valves are in different positions. You will also need to use VN exhaust manifolds/extractors for the same reason.
Inlet manifolds well you can use a Harrop carby style manifold or the origina

yeah, the old reds would be fine, if you dont want to spend the extra cash on getting the seats done, and you dont mind having a slightly messy engine bay, just get a flashlube injection kit or similar.
