Hello,

I have a VP Commodore that constantly display the engine warning light. I have taken it to a Holden dealer and so far they have replaced the oxygen sensor which did not fix the problem. They then replaced the computer which still did not fix the problem.

They still have the car and cant seem to find the cause of the problem.

Do any of you guys know what else we could try, as I have run out of ideas and patients.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers

My VR wagon was doing the same thing, but the abs light and airbag fail light was also coming up intermitantly. It ended up being the main charge wire at the back of the alternator had perrished to a point where it was not always working properly, ie, eve

i cant remember the fault code lists for vps, but u can easily look them up online, and by bridging a terminal under your dash, it puts your computer into self test mode...it should give you the code for what is setting the light off. other than that, che
