Hi,
Just wondering if anyone knows what could cause an airbox to keep getting blown up? Its in my VN SS thats on LPG, the strange thing is there is no problem unless its cold, sometimes when you go to start it it back fires and blows the box appart. I've done the timing and changed leads, plugs, filters etc. I'm thinking of doning the timing chain as its getting on a bit now. Also when i switch to petrol the thing idles at about 1500. If anyone has any ideas they would be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance.

My Falcon on LPG did this but I was lucky that it only blew the lid off & bent all the holding clips. I put a new set of leads on it & the problem went away. You can buy a backfire arrestor from an lpg fitter which is I believe just like the flap
