Les, I have a WB Statesman Caprice, and I have noticed that there is a lot of stuff on the interior of these cars that breaks, and the thing is, if you can find a car that is being wrecked, all the bits I need are broken, or are so brittle that they will soon break. I'm talking about woodgrain dash fascia, console fascia (where the electric window switch is screwed in etc etc etc.).
Is it an expensive exercise to take an existing good example and reproduce it, with the infrastructure that Rare Spares obviously have? I think there would be a market for small runs like this. Other examples that spring to mind are HQ dash fascias and HQ glove boxes)...
Just a thought. What does everyone else think?

Would love to see more HQ GTS parts repo'd - dash facia, headlight bezels, console, console insert(manual), 350 4sp gearshift boot...the list goes on...

We are still thinking about the HQ GTS dash facia the will cost a lot of money for tooling and we are nor sure that the market is there.
Headlamp bezels are being made at the moment we expect a sample end of November.
HQ console no plans at this stage

We do not make a lot for WB statesmen maybe it time to look at them . Lets hear form anyone about WB parts

G'day Les.
I was thinking of HQ-X Coupe scuff plates, but I'd imagine that the HK-G Monaro owners would be keen on them also for the earlier Monaros.
Also front window winder mechanisms....drivers side particularly.

Front window regulator repair kits are available for both HK and HQ part numbers WRK1000 WRK1001 Winder handles are also available wh1002

We have a 71 HQ Monaro 2door that we are restoring, We require the winow winder mecanism for the drivers door, I see one of your postings has the part wrk1000. Are we able to source this part from you

not sure if you seen another of my posts about the HJ-WB gts facia's you guys have. basicaly i got a rare spares one and wasnt happy with it. it was very badly indented where it has been welded for the bits on the back and the overall finish was |

We are trying to find out what went wrong with some of the facias, some are worse than others. The NOS one we use as a sample for comparison is not perfect either. The tooling is being checked at the moment and if it is faulty it maybe well past Ma

We have looked at WB parts but unfortunately our research is not positive unless those parts fit HQ-HZ as well.
As for HQ GTS dash facias we have not given up hope off making them but last time we asked the question on who would buy one the figures did n

I have already mentioned the dash facia , we do make the headlamp bezels , console insert and boot however we do not make the console for the HQ but we do for the HJ - HZ. Give me your list.

love to see the magnetic fuel sender and front fuel gauge to match reproduced for hqs because there was some small problems with them when they were built , not to mention the hz rear windscreen with demister , you can get the plane glass but it makes mor
