I just bought a low K one owner VP V6. It is dual fuel. But when running on petrol. idling at the lights, it seems to cough and miss occasionally. Doesnt stall, but just wondering where to start looking, fuel or electrical??

Other than that she runs sweet, but is a little down on power compared to my old VN.

Cheers

An early V6 coughing and missing is fairly common. Try the coil-pack as a starter, it is a known problem on them, particularly when they are run on LPG.

Is there any other way of checking this without going to the expense of a new coil pack??

A very common problem on dual fuel cars is that the fue
