Hi guys, I heard that ROH or some similar company is producing the original HR disc brake steel wheels, does anyone know if this is true or of a source I can aquire them from.

ROH produce lots of different steel wheels. you should be able to order them from any ROH dealer.

Hi Dre.


HD/HR wheels fit both disc & drum braked cars, there isn't a special wheel for disc brakes.

You sure Dr Terry? I was under the impression the disk brake rims have "disk" (or disc) stamped on the back of them, and the drum brake wheels don't clear properly.

Thansk Dr Terry, The reason I asked this question was that I was told on another forum that the offset was different on the disc rims and they had a small hole drilled in the rim to distinguish them, and just wanted to make sure I tracked down the right o

I think you'll find the disc brake rims are slightly different, why else would they put the small hole between two wheel stud holes to distinquish them from the drum brake wheels????

Hi Guys.


There are basically 3 types of HD/HR rims.


Type 1 - HD passenger, fits all HD passenger cars disc & drum (remember disc brakes came out with ball joint type suspension in July '65)


Type 2 - HR passenger, fits all passenger H

So thats why my copies of the HR adds list a wider track. Another thing I won't die pondering about.

I have heard this too, I have also heard that some of the caravan places may stock them and retail is around $45 per rim.
