Hi Byron.
The Holden Suburbans had 4L80-Es.
The 6L80-E has only been on the US market since the 04 or 05 model year.

Terry, took me a while to realise why you typed the bit about Suburbans as that is exactly what I was stating - then realised what I wrote was misleading. I meant that the Statesmans had a 6spd version of the 4L80-E and the Suburbans also had a 4L80-E.

Not running when cold could be need for a choke, but may require larger jets or idle settings altered (maybe crack the secondaries slightly as well).
Another idea may be to go to a hotter range of plug. They will "get up to temperature" faster from co |

a 600 holley is popular. i assume you mean chev '383' (its actually a 377).
If it doesn’t burn fossil fuels, it’s not a sport. Edited by user Wednesday, 18 July 2007 6:03:45 AM(UTC)

The Edelbrock Torker 2 Manifold is the best manifold for carby/bonnet clearance with a BB Chev. Lower than the Performer manifolds. Everything fits under the bonnet.
