Hi Guys.

The 2 orange colours used on HQs are Lone O'Ranger & Saffron. Get the paint code off the body plate, that's the easy way to find out.

Certainly looks like "Mustard".
Definitely NOT "Lone O'ranger".
The trouble with trying to match colours on the 'net, is that everyone tends to have slightly different display colour settings on their monitor, so a "true" colour will vary from computer

Since we are talking about a 73 Kingy..here are some colours from the 1973-74 colour range. They all should have a red tint to them.

Autumn Gold
Mustard
Russet
Saffron met
Salamanca Red
Sunburst Met
Tangerine

Hi Taz2.

On my computer the colour looks a reddish orange, that's the best description I can give anyway.

Mustard is a badly named colour, because is very yellowy. Indy orange is not an HQ colour, it is used on HTs. Russet is almost a brown. Tangeri
