I have an 88 EA Falcon with a re-conditioned centrepoint engine which is on gas, I was reading in a street machine mag that stock AU engines fetch slightly under a grand if you look hard enough, and stock BA engines minus ancillaries are about $1650. How hard would both of these engines be to drop in the EA... with all electricals and others which may need changing? And what would it be setting me back?

You probably have problems with cross member and clearance of the bonnet.
