Hi again,
I was wondering if all the HQ HJ HZ Holden model sedans had the same rear track and wheel arch width. Did all the premiers come standard with a v8 and I think some of the premiers had rear disc brakes, did they use the same hand brake cable setup as the utes.Thanks Owen.

From my knowlegde the HQ & HJ have the same basic body. Parts can swap back and forward. The HX and HZ differ somehow. I dont know for sure, as all I worry about are HQ's.

The tracking on the HQ-HJ-HX are most likely identical. The HZ changed with RTS

Hi Owen,

The story as I know it...

All HQ - HZ sedans had the same rear track/wheel base. The RTS cars (late HX and HZ) had a slightly different track.

In full size Holdens the HZ was the first to be released (officially anyway) with rear discs.

The late HX and HZ cars had a slightly different FRONT Track...

According to my owners manual all models hz except tonna front track 1527mm rear 1537mm tonna front 1521mm rear 1529mm with standard rims all hq-hz rear wheel arches ive measured are the same if that helps
