Hi to everyone. I am going to rebuild my red 308 engine and have heard I can put VN 5L heads straight on, but i dont wont to go full fuel injection. Can i still run a carbie and what else will need to be changed/upgraded as i am also thinking of stroking it. Thanks in Advanced. Any info Appreciated

You can but you need some things to go with it. It will need new extractors, a new cam and the expensive part which is a new inlet manifold.

Like J said expensive part is the manifold. Harrop make a carb manifold to suit VN but its round $600 - $700. Its the only one I have found !
Go the SANDMAN !

torque-power make one as well but its the same 700 bucks as the harrop ones. Redline also make one thats a couple hundred cheaper but only available as a single plane manifold.
