hey i have a stock xf falcon gl, and was wondering will an xf spack/ fairmont ghia instument cluster will go in without hassels, is all the wiring loom for the electronic dash already their?? thanks guys

the wiring is there for the s pack gauges the will fit right in. not 100% on the fairlane/fairmont Ghia they should do. your stock Falcon wiring has the wires for the tacho and oil pressure. you will need to fit an oil pressure sender which is different t

If i were you id stay with what you have got. I,ve had a XF falcon "s" pac frome new in 1985. From the first few weeks I had the car this cluster unit was nothing but trouble for me. I had it back at Ford under warranty but still got rippe

I had the same problem.

I fixed mine by resoldering all the joints on the PCB that the gauges are mounted on. You can ensure the earth is good at the same time.

My problem was with the connector for the wiring harness, which had many broken solder

Like I said, I have had it repaired by professionals and after that date you can keep your fingers crossed for 1-(3 if your very lucky) years before it plays up again. I have all the reciepts to prove it. These gauges are bad news. As for earthing termin

THE XF FAIRMONT GHIA CLUSTER WILL GO IN TO ANY XF,BUT FOR THE FUEL GAUGE THERE RATED AT A 80 LITRE TANK.YOU'LL ALLSO HAVE TO REMEMBER THE FAIRMONT GHIA WAS ELCTRONIC FUEL INJECTED SYSTEM THAT RAN A EEC-IV

My odometer failed about 6 months ago. yesterday I discovered that nothing works now. Not even the clock. Anybody got any suggestions?

ef on gas ,idle bad on petrol but good on gas.have changed map sensor and done injectors, what else could it be .need car to be ok , 4 kids

Fil. My EB started doing this. Turs out the petrol had absorbed water. I spent $3.50 & poured a litre of metho into the tank & ran it completely out of petrol. All is sweet now.

Another cause could be a leak in your inlet manifold. Gas forgives this

i have a xf ford ute witch i rebuilt i want to use another ford instrument cluster does anybody know witch one will fit i dont care if i have to rewire it

Make your own cluster... seriously go talk to the lovely folks at your local AutoBarn. then you can get exactly what guages you want, the price maybe a bit higher but the result is great and individual... well thats what i am doing anyways. =)
