Will the early commodore (VC/VH) fit straight on the HX rims or are they different?

DO NOT try to put Commodore rims on HQ - WB Holdens. The stud pattern (or PCD) is close but different and you will break wheelstuds and lose wheels.
It is dangerous.

I can't understand why Holden didn't make the metric pattern 125mm so that there could be no mistake with the old imperial pattern. I wonder how many accidents or insurance rejections this has created.

I've had rear wheel studs on a HJ ute all snap at once with 14x7" (Simmons copies) fitted. |
