Will the early commodore (VC/VH) fit straight on the HX rims or are they different?

DO NOT try to put Commodore rims on HQ - WB Holdens. The stud pattern (or PCD) is close but different and you will break wheelstuds and lose wheels.

It is dangerous.

14inch will hit the top control arm on the front and on the rear its centre will get stuck on the axle end...
going to church makes you no more a christian than standing in a garage makes you a car...

Or vice-versa. 120mm PCD versus 4.75 inch (120.65mm).

I can't understand why Holden didn't make the metric pattern 125mm so that there could be no mistake with the old imperial pattern.
I wonder how many accidents or insurance rejections this has created.

I've had rear wheel studs on a HJ ute all snap at once with 14x7" (Simmons copies) fitted.
