G'day All,

I'm thinking of putting a V8 into the ronner, and I know you have to change engine mounts, radiator and coil springs, but what else do I need to change, e.g. can I still use the same cross member, tailshaft and gearbox (aussie 4 speed)or do they have to be changed too? is a 4 speed box the same for a 6 and an 8? I'm not doing it just yet but I would like to know excactly what I need and do it all in one hit as it is a work vehicle and cant be off the road too long. Any advice will be appreciated.

Coil springs will be OK. Rest as per Greg's comments. Your best bet is to find a complete car with a V8 (and preferably 4-speed) and swap it all over. When you get closer email me and I can tell you which bits and pieces you need. Greg will normally have
