See if you can make sure it's not already 0.060" oversize, as then it's not worth a real lot. You might pick one up

Where do you find 308 stuff that cheap! If you can buy complete blue/black 308 long motors for $100-$150 buy as many as you can find. One of these will normally set you back at least $350.

For a V8 this means VL or for a 6cyl this is VK, with the best box being the EFI one. He will need to use a TH400 T-bar though, or pull the trimatic one apart and swap the shif

I'd be really interested to know who you use for transportation. $70 for a pick up in Melb and transport to Hobart is certainly a very good price. I'm in the vehicle dismantling trade, and I can't match that price and we've tried pretty well
