Im currently running a to3/4 hybrid turbo on my FJ but at around 5600 rpm the boost drops from 14 psi to around 4 it has to3 garret turbo with to4 600hp high flow wheel and front housing it use to do the same thing with the to3 front housing just wondering if anyone had any ideas

forgot to mention motor revs to 7200 with 4 psi

Charles,
U've probably got ur intake sussed, but years ago I had a prob with an F7 Volvo truck (in a fleet of 9) - It drove perfectly except as it approached the last few hundred revs -it seemd to lose a bit of it's PULL or BOOST -

thanks, intake is aluminium but even with no air cleaner still has same problem and can't really tell how much boost without load as throttle needs to be fully open and motor revs to quick without load

Hi Charles, What EFI unit are you using or is it a carby job.

yeah small intercooler and air intake out the front behind the grill havn't had much time to play with it as i'm converting it to 5 speed manual
