Buying VN Commodore: What to look for?

I Have a VN series 1 300klm it runs great when cold but as it warms the Idle gets rough if it is started when hot it is worse .I have changed plugs, leads compresion is ok ,Im starting to think it has something to do with the lean Idle from the ECU ,all the sensor have been check and are ok . Can anybody help me out with this issue.

i had a vn series 1 before i got the vx and honestly they have to be one of the best cars ever made except for the gauges the speedo wouldnt move till i got to 50km\h and the temperture gauge never moved but you can just get a series 2 dash cluster cause

i had a vn series 1 before i got the vx and honestly they have to be one of the best cars ever made except for the gauges the speedo wouldnt move till i got to 50km\h and the temperture gauge never moved but you can just get a series 2 dash cluster cause they slide right in and everything works even the tacho its just a pain tryin to find strocker kits for it cause not to many where made for the series 1

and also try and use oil designed for engines that have done over 100,000ks

to vnblues regarding rough running when motor hot on your vn.i had sameproblem with my vp i replaced sensors leads plugs etc finaly replaced memcal in ecu with memcal from vn series 1 and it fixed the problem go to your local pick a part wrecker + take fr

to vnblues regarding rough running when motor hot on your vn.i had sameproblem with my vp i replaced sensors leads plugs etc finaly replaced memcal in ecu with memcal from vn series 1 and it fixed the problem go to your local pick a part wrecker + take from vn +vp ecu get a few types +try i think my original memcal must have been faulty my engine is pretty stock 2.5 catback zorst no resinator bellmouth removed and homemade cold air intake hope you have some luck regards baza

extractors and sports exhaust will pick it up, computer chip, cold air induction,clean the throttle body,and a good tune up.
