Hk prem wagon 5 liter badges Options

I saw a ht wagon with 186 on left side of t/gate & prem on right side sould mine have a badge or two on t/gate?

I thought they had 307 & 327 badges, but the 5L didn't appear until later in the HT or something? Was before my time though, so others probably have a better idea!

(HG Prem might have on front guards also, would have to check) The

Rank: Member Reputation: Groups: Registered Joined: 20/03/2005(UTC) Posts: 316		There is no such thing as a 307 badge on the Holdens, the HKs with 307s in them only had the 5Litre flag badges on the front of the guards. the Premier tailgate engine capacity badges first came out on the HT so your HK did not have them. Part of this wold haveben the fact they wanted a differe4nce between the 307 and up coming

I was always under the impression that the 'Series 70' engine badge in the HB series was to signify that it had 70 hp, compared to the standard engine's 56 hp. Both engines have the same 1159 cc capacity which is also around 70 ci, Dr Terry

One of my brothers-in-law and another mate of mine both had the Brabham HB's back in the early - mid 70's and I'm sure they said the same thing...the 70 was HP not capacity. Cheers...Dave
