Hi all,

I was told that the crossmember positioning in HZ/WB 1 tonners was different to that in the VK commodores & therefore the black 202 I just got (out of a VK) will need a different sump to fit in a HZ/WB 1 tonner - is this correct???

Thanks all....

Hi Guys.

Yes, that's correct, use an HQ-WB, LH-UC sump & pick-up.

Also often forgotten, is the dipstick & tube. On the Commodore, the dipstick goes into the side of the sump. What you have to do is use the HQ-WB dipstick tube, & fit it to the Commod
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

If you are fitting the injected motor you will have to bend the dipstick pipe out a bit. Also the dipstick goes in only in a certain position so make sure you have the pipe in the right way around. I had a lot of trouble stopping oil leaks around the base
