gday... just have a few questions.. i bought this vn commodore not going.. the guy told me that he was driving along .. come to set of traffic lights and the car stoped on him and couldnt get it going again.. now since i got it... i found that the starter motor is clickong attempt at starting and no motor response... the motor aint seized. i checked that by taken spark plug out and turning it over.. i have checked the battery and thats fine to.. i checked relays they r all good... i wanna run bypass past the neutral switch to see if it will work but dont know how to do it.. anyoine got any ideas i also thought it could be the computer.. i run a test over that by doing the flash diagnostic check and that didnt work at all.. no flashing of lights o nthe dash.. that couldbe part of the reason... please help me on this..
thank you

It isnt the neutral safety switch. This wont allow the starter to "click".

For a start short out the terminals on the starter motor. (very carefully) If it turns over then you may have a relay problem. But I just think that the starter motor is shag

If you have a vp coil pack they only die two leads at a time, thats why they are designed that way. so car should run really rough. if you think it is the computer which it may be as the car just dying and no lights showing is one sign of the computer ***

if the check engine light doesn't flash when you short the black and black/white wires on the diag plug, then the computer is dead.

as for nelson, it sounds like leaky injectors, mine did the same. was caused by a stuffed pressure reg.
