It'll raise your compression to about 11.1:1...you will HAVE to run really fresh 98 Octane fuel and listen VERY carefully for pinging.

If it is a stock 149 head, it will also have small ports and valves. This will be good for torque but no good for top end HP.

The current 98 Octane fuel goes "off" after just a few days...if you use a tank in a day and you bought it from a garage that

what would be best for burnouts, auto or manual? Its goen to be a hot 186 running nos. At this stage its not going to be turbo, or super charged but mabey in the future.

Electronic Ignition? Absolutley. Either from a blue motor or an injected black motor (not a black carby motor) or an aftermarket one.

With the electronic dizzy it is worth spending an extra couple of dollars and having it re-graphed to suite the cam that you run as they are set up for economy and not for grunt.At Sapphire speedway we run a Burnout comp and most of the cars hold their re

ive been told that a good idear is to bolt on a turbo, off a little jap motor, how weel would that work. I have about 6 months for this project.

hi What do you use for a harmonic ballencer as i have broken 3 on my 202 they just come apart if i rev it over 5000rpm

A standard harmonic balancer is good enough (you must either tighten your belt too much or put the balancer on wrong if it keeps coming off)!! Mine is standard (on my worked HP) and sees over 6000rpm - ive never had a problem with harmonic balancer comin
