hi guys
the clutch on my HZ Kingswood van (202 and 3 on the tree!) is like a truck clutch and take up is pretty much as soon as the pedal is off the floor ... is this normal? will a pedal height and fork adjustment cure the take up and heaviness? i've drien a mate's HQ 202 ute and the pedal is a heck of a lot lighter ...
cheers frank

Good topic. My HZ Sandman has the pull fork (better than linkage) I modify it. The problem is even when you are not using the clutch the weight of the pedal and the pedal pivot spring always leaves the bearing touching the preasure plate fingers. We all

G'day Frank,
You would be surprised how much heavier a clutch is when the cable is worn, I replaced mine recently and it when I tried the new one out it felt like I had put a power clutch in because I was so used to how it was before, and wish I had done

Frank, (re blue motor dizzy)

Yes, it will drop straight in, and will run, but probably a bit rough until you:

Oh yeah... you may also have an extra wire on the electronic dizzy, that the points dizzy doesn't have. This should go on the negative of the coil - where your tacho (if you have one) also attaches. Mine didn't run until I connected the extra wire.
