hello all i was just thinking on some ideas on a 202 prepolution build for my hq and was wondering if a 265 crank out of a hemi 6 could be made to fit into a 202 block and if so what would be the benifits i've heard of fitting a ford crank though

also if this could be done what options do i have for rods, pistons and cam

thanks in advance.

265 won't fit - too long. A Ford 221 can be made to fit, but these need a cut and shut with an early red 6 rear flange. Pro-stroke in WA do them. Will cost you a lot though. You probably are heaps better of $ wise buying a wrecked VN for $500, and getting

The bore centres are too different for the Chrysler cranks to fit. The Ford motors' bore centres are the same (or very, very close) the the Holden ones.
