As per the title I am wanting some advice as to where the battery should go out of a 1 tonner.. I'm wanting to clean up the engine bay, the little things are easy enough to move but where can the battery go? I want to do it so the whole lot will eventually be legal but can only think of two places;
1) As far as engineering goes, would it be legal to make a vented compartment inside the large trusty toolbox on the tray and run the cables over the front panel on the tray (saves making holes in the tray) and into the compartment??
2) Or will I need to get one of those under tray boxes the tradies use and whack it in there??
Any suggestions would be great, thanks all....

I made a battery box holder that is located behind the cab at the right corner (no fuel tank) as most electricals on the chev are on the right and lpg lines on the left. pic here: http://gallery.oldholden..._battery.jpg.html?g2_ima
