Kevin,
I'd have a guess and say the 73 series would not. Here is why.
The HJ engine manual (Oct74 onward) shows the thermo doovie. My Jun 74 253 has the heater adapter on the LH manifold, so it takes the hot air intake. I have the rocker cover breat

Hi Guys.
This took a bit of research, but I have the definitive answer. Also it pays not to use sales brochures for info on mid-model upgrades. They are not always reliable.
According to a factory service bulletin I have, dated Sept '73, ADR27 was i |

Hi John.
The changes were done to all the Aussie engines around the same sime.

Hi Dr Terry,
DER on ME !!! I just had a look !
The 1973 HQ has ...25, 26.
The 1974 HQ has ...25, 27, 28
For those that dont know: ADR 25 - anti-theft locking (LOL) ADR 26 - not/never used, hence missing on the 74 car ADR 27 - emission regs

Hi Kevin.
The other clue would be to see if the carby has the tamper proof idle screws. This is only true for the 6 cyl & 253 V8s though.
