Hi Guys, I have bought a pair of bucket seats :D (+rear with centre armrest) for my HK Kingswood. My Q is about the H shaped seat spacers i see on ebay, i have found out the spacers are used in non-monaro's for the higher roof line, but they don't look real thick, like they don't raise the seats much...? but are they neccessary in my sedan, if so would it be leagl to make my own (simple...) or is my only option the crap i see on ebay? The seats i have bought are original black vinyl but will need a complete retrim (black again:) as the vinyl is very rough and torn, though all the frames and rails look straight and rustfree :) oh + anyone know how i can get them from Brissy to the Gold Coast?? Cheers, Elton. there are no stupid questions, only stupid people

I've raised my bucket seats in my sandman van. I cut out 1" thick pine about the same size as the seat suports and got longer high tensile bolts to reach the floor. now considering that a bench seat only has four bolts total i'm sure that my buckets will

I'm no holley expert but yes one full turn is a good place to start, especially with a 350 holley on a 186. you may find you're using a lot of fuel, is your motor worked at all? i don't know the build details of your engine, but if it isn't improved or at

From what u say and from what ive heard, i totally agree with a little 4 barrel. The 186 has tuned length extractors,2"custom made{home made} exhaust, big lukey muffler, comm blue HEI and coil, mild cam{25/65 grind},head chambers have been smoothed out with |

sounds like your head has been converted to 12 port - these are designed for 3 X 2bbl eg webers or efi. su and the like reportedly work better with 9 port

Hi Robert, "most" research shows that if you want to use the SU or stromberg triples you should use the 9 port for better power. If you plan on using triple DCOE webers or EFI where you have a barrel for each cylinder then a 12 port will give better resu
