It has come that time to put the top of the motor together, and in saying this, am now after a set of pushrods, but thought id ask my good mates at the Fastlane Holden forum what they thought i should get!
The block has been faced, head has been shaved slightly, XU-1 cam and street terra roller rockers! Standard lifters also!
What pushrods should i use???

Keith.
There are only 2 different lengths of Holden 6 cyl pushrods.
If you have adjustable rocker gear you use the same pushrods as any 149, 161, 179 or 186 or either XU1.
202 & 173 etc (with fixed rocker gear) have the different length pushrods. |
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0 |

Dr Terry, ive heard that chrysler 225 or 265 pushrods can be used in a 186.APPARENTLY they are heavier duty{less chance of bending} than red ones.heard of this being done?or just another yarn? |
