It has come that time to put the top of the motor together, and in saying this, am now after a set of pushrods, but thought id ask my good mates at the Fastlane Holden forum what they thought i should get!

The block has been faced, head has been shaved slightly, XU-1 cam and street terra roller rockers! Standard lifters also!

What pushrods should i use???

Cheerio

Keith.

There are only 2 different lengths of Holden 6 cyl pushrods.

If you have adjustable rocker gear you use the same pushrods as any 149, 161, 179 or 186 or either XU1.

202 & 173 etc (with fixed rocker gear) have the different length pushrods.
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

Dr Terry, ive heard that chrysler 225 or 265 pushrods can be used in a 186.APPARENTLY they are heavier duty{less chance of bending} than red ones.heard of this being done?or just another yarn?
