I bought this car not concerned with what it was untill a freind reckoned it was a gtr . it is almost ready for painting after 10 months of body work as it previously had a9x flares and had had all the inner gaurds hacked out.
A freind advised to repair the gaurds was a big job and not to buy it but i bought it anyway. After buying found it had had a big hit in the right front and had been repaired hence the chassis straigtening
The Car has had every removable part replaced and is all sitting in my garage awaiting the body to come back from painting.
sorry photos are not in order still learning.Cannot take credit for all the metal work as a panel beater mate did a lot of it .The chassis on right side had to be pulled 18mm forward, and 15 mm down the right floor had to be pulled forward, both door pillars were replaced both sills were removed and refitted to match the gaurds, the right hand door edge was built up 5mm as the previous person had gound the door edge to allow the door to open.the right inner gaurd was also 5mm to short and had to have a peice put in.All the front end was brazed on so all that had to be removed and redone with mig the boot floor and body floors were hand made by the same panel beater mate as was the left and right lowwer rear sills.I would have given up long ago without the persistance of mates who said it could be done with a lot of time.

Great work.

It's good to see a car as butchered as that one being lovingly restored.

Did you find out if it is in fact a GTR?
