G'day fella's is there someone out there that can tell me how to tune up a black fuel injected six, as the ute is running like ****.

The timing seems to be right but it is still running to rich and I do not have a clue what to play around with on the fuel injection to get the thing to run right. Even when driving it feels like it has left its nuts back in the garage, it just doesn't like to rev anymore.

any help would be appreiciated thanks

If a fuel injected vehicle is running too rich, it could be the o2 sensors in the exhaust also. The fuel control system senses the richness of the mixture by the amount of oxygen in the exhaust gases, and adjusts the mixture to suit (depending on how cle

Hi Guys.

The VK EFI is only a Bosch LE-Jetronic system, very simple. The only sensing is coolant tent, air flow (& temp) & RPM. The is no O2 sensor & the TPS is only an idle & full throttle contact.

With our fuel injected 6 we had a faulty fuel pressure regulator and a faulty head temp sensor.

Two weeks later the computer gave up, we took it out, banged it on the ground and it worked for a while, but we had to replace it.
