Does any one know the dimensions of the combuston chambers for the red heads from 149 throught to 186?
ive got a 202 and want to make the compression higher.
has any one had any experiences doing this?
what would be the best head to put on or should i just leave the original head?
cheers

149, 161 and 173 high comp heads will increase a 202 to about 10.5:1. Way to high for regular street use, but with a big overlap cam, triples and 98 octane fuel with appropriately regraphed dizzy will work OK. this is what Holden did with the LJ XU-1.
