this may not be acar question but ihave alarge floor jack when i crank it up it comes back down i twist the handle tight could someone tell me how to fix it ? cheers and thanks

Sounds like there is a bit of grit thats got into the hydraulic valve. Not a easy fix a lot of those jacks can be very temperamental. I would suggest loosening the two plugs on the top of the pump block, pump the handle a few times and tighten plugs back

If the main seal is u/s it will also do what you describe.
