If you're in Qld chances are it's working fine but it just can't keep up with the heat at the moment - I can't find anything to stop my pits from dripping!!

all air con vents open, I degassed and cleaned tx valve, regassed, works but only ok, when coverting to 134a from r12 does one need to change the tx valve to operate at a different schedule due to pressure differences between 134a and r12. There must be s

I did read somewhere there is a number of important if minor differences in these valves. I would suggest you see a air con guy, or do a search in aircon either here or oldholden. can't remember where i saw the writeup.

make friends with a fridgy and get it charged with r12 these guys drain the gas from old fridges and store it, better in your car than floating in the air...

My guess would be to replace TX valve. To get air con really cold vacuum system for 1.5 hrs to get all moisture out of system then regass, we used to get down to 1 degree.
